The remaining balance (50%) must be paid before the EICR certificate is issued.
Accepted payment methods: [insert payment methods].
Failure to pay in full will delay issuance of the report.
4. Cancellation Policy
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a cancellation fee.
The deposit may be retained to cover loss of time and booking slot.
We understand emergencies happen and will assess each case fairly.
While we regret any dissatisfaction, our cancellation fee is a standard industry practice designed to protect the time and commitments of our team.
Negative public feedback or online reviews regarding this fee do not void the agreed terms. We encourage clients to contact us directly to resolve any concerns professionally and constructively.
5. Access Requirements
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure full access to the electrical installation. Missed appointments due to access issues may result in rescheduling charges.
6. Report Issuance
Reports are issued within 1–3 working days of full payment. Findings are based on BS 7671 and reflect the safety condition of the property at the time of inspection.
7. Validity of EICR
EICRs are typically valid for up to 5 years, or less depending on the condition of the installation and inspector’s recommendation.
8. Remedial Works
Should the report identify faults, we will offer a separate quotation for remedial work. These are not included in the EICR fee unless stated otherwise.
9. Client Responsibilities
Clients are expected to disclose any known faults or hazards before the inspection and ensure the site is safe and accessible.
10. Limitation of Liability
We are not responsible for indirect losses arising from faults identified during inspection. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.
