Supply and installation of a new Grade D1 Category LD2 fire detection and alarm system in accordance with BS 5839-6 and Haringey Council HMO licensing requirements.

Works to include:

• Supply and installation of 9 interlinked mains-powered smoke alarms with sealed lithium battery back-up.
• Supply and installation of 1 interlinked mains-powered heat alarm with sealed lithium battery back-up within the kitchen.
• Smoke alarms to be installed within all four bedrooms, two reception rooms and three circulation areas/landings.
• Heat alarm to be installed within the kitchen.
• Installation of new interlink wiring between all alarm devices.
• Cabling to be taken from the nearest suitable lighting circuits where available.
• Surface-mounted white mini trunking to be installed where required to provide a neat and compliant installation.
• All alarm devices to be fully interconnected to ensure simultaneous operation throughout the property.
• Testing of all detectors, interlink functions and power supplies.
• Verification of battery back-up operation.
• Full commissioning of the fire detection and alarm system.
• Issue of Fire Alarm Installation & Commissioning Certificate upon satisfactory completion.
• Minor making good associated with the installation works.

Exclusions:

• Decoration and redecorating works.
• Building works not directly associated with the alarm installation.
• Fire doors, emergency lighting or other fire safety upgrades unless specifically stated.
• Wi-Fi enabled devices, smart alarm monitoring systems or remote notification equipment unless specifically requested.

All works to be carried out by Norm Electrical Engineering and completed in accordance with current BS 7671 Wiring Regulations and BS 5839-6 recommendations.
